My brother ate a few, too. A few days later I got the idea to hide pieces of the treats under the folds of the blankets in Ditto's crate. He watched me the whole time I was hiding them, and when I was finally done he went right into the crate and his sniffer went berserk! When he picked up a scent he pulled at the blanket with his long claws, when he found a treat-piece he gobbled it up and was on his treat-finding journey again.

Mr. Treat-Finder
I made these little treats I got from a recipe that Ditto really liked. I fed them to him a lot.

How We Got Ditto
In the fall of 2004 my family went to a greyhound meet-&-greet to look at the greyhounds and think about witch one to get. Dad was just about to say that the rambunctious one was good to get when Ditto, a four- year- old faun colored greyhound, stuck his head right between Dad's legs, that was settled. A couple of days later we met a volunteer at PetCo to pick Ditto up. On the way home he was shaking in the small trunk of our minnie van while we tried to comfort him. When we got home that night we were trying to get him to go up the stairs so he could sleep in Mom & Dad's room but no matter how much we called he wouldn't come up. So Dad volunteered to sleep downstairs. I was about 5 at the time, and I asked Mom for some pieces of food to give to him. I carefully put a piece of food on each step, and gradually Ditto came up the stairs. Ever after that, Ditto has always came up the stairs.
